Topics for Debate FNL – July 11, 2014 What’s Happening: This Friday, we will have a special edition Friday Night Live! Each team will have 2 topics to debate another team on. It is your responsibility to DEFEND your side of the argument to the best of your ability. The best ARGUMENT will win the points of the round. This means that your ARGUMENT doesn’t necessarily have to be correct during the debate (we will talk about each topic in depth at the end of debates), but you do need to defend your team’s stance in order to have a chance on winning. Each team will be given a few minutes before the debates to gather their thoughts for their round of debates. Suggestions: Do research. Use the Bible, Ellen G White, Internet, etc. to help defend your position. Think of points the other team might try to argue.
